🗻 Hello Seattle
PREAMBLE
Hello friends. Welcome to installment deux of The Some Times. Those of you who got the first newsletter and thought, boy that was fun, I bet they are going to do another one of these things one day, were right.
Now you're probably wondering, what is this email going to be about? It's funny you thought that because that was exactly what we thought when we sat down to write this. Rather than make a bunch of stuff up, let's get straight to the facts.
PART ONE
You probably know by now – at least we hope our efforts have been effective enough – to impress upon you the fact that Fuzzco has an office in Portland, Oregon. Now that we've cleared that up, we've decided to move it to Seattle.
Some people say Seattle is the Miami of the Pacific Northwest. We don't though because we've been there. Actually, several people in the Portland office lived there at one point and moved from Seattle to work with us so for them the move will be a homecoming.
We're excited about the move for a lot of reasons – coffee in the mornings at Analog and Dance Church on Sunday are two, but on a deeper level we can't wait to be immersed in the community some of us have grown up in, now prepared more than ever to give back to it. We'll also get more face time with local clients like the Bezos Family Foundation, EQ Office and now Skanska. Let's be honest, we love a hug after a meeting.
We're making the move soon.
Like March 31st soon.
We're going to need an office
and designers(!!!).
We're going to want to hang out.
Come see us.
Now Portland. Portland has been good to us. We're so grateful for the friends we've made, the incredible people we've worked with, the hikes we've taken and all of the amazing food we've eaten. Thank you for having us.
PART TWO
In case anyone is curious about the Charleston office, we're moving too, about a mile from where we are now. Follow along with the renovation of a fantastically aged masonry building in Charleston.
With all of this happening we've decided to stay really busy at the office, so while we're captivating you, and because we haven't updated our website in a while, we thought it might be nice to share a few things we've been working on.Â
WTHNÂ
Enjoy healing? Needles? We worked with New York based co-founders, Michelle and Shari, to launch a brand that invites customers to own their health and wellness through a modernized approach to acupuncture and herbal supplements. Fuzzco led brand development from concept to launch. This included naming, strategy, visual identity, packaging design, photography, and website design and development. wthn.com
KICK HEALTHÂ
Are you into public speaking with a dry brow? First dates with a chill vibe? Kick is launching a consumer telehealth brand to help people face their fears and get to critical calm through daily exercises and easy access to beta blockers. We worked with founder, Justin, to build a bold, trustworthy brand, including strategy, visual identity, packaging design, photography, illustration, campaign concepting, and website design. gokick.com
STUDENTS REBUILD
Do you like world peace? Art? Education? As part of the Bezos Family Foundation, Students Rebuild is a program connecting champion teachers with a ready-made adventure in global learning calling on their students’ thinking, creativity, and compassion through a yearly philanthropic cause. We worked with the foundation to give a polish to the existing logo, and reimagine the visual expression and digital experience of the program. studentsrebuild.org
HAD ENOUGH? Same.
LAST PART
Before you go, let us remind you that it's Valentine's Day every year this month on the 14th which is next week. We put a twist on an old favorite for the occasion – we're now drawing two people for the price of one and calling it Couples Roulette. It's big. Don't miss out. While you are in the process of not missing out, be sure that you are following Fuzzco on Instagram because until our *new website* is done we're going to continue to post new work and announcements like these there. And because we can't help it here is a hat we make.
Thank you for coming on this journey with us.
