The Some Times: We're all here
These days
Together, we’ve seen a lot of rapid change in the past couple of weeks. Our work is changing, our expectations are changing, and our daily lives are very different.
We’ve been working hard, reflecting a ton, taking stock of the good, and searching for the right places to focus our energy and impact.
We’re thankful for the health and safety of our team. It’s been encouraging to see our community creatively exploring and expressing their thoughts and perspectives about this new dynamic. We’re eager to connect with friends, clients, and strangers to help each other stay motivated and engaged.
Studio WFH 🏡
Our talented, empathetic and resilient team has been making WFH work. We thought we'd share some of our home office setups:
We’ve been carving out more face time than usual across different offices and time zones. Friday we hosted our first cross-office happy hour where we each shared the intro song we'd select if all of a sudden we were professional wrestlers. Here's how that ended up:
Aaron Metamorphosis, Philip Glass
Angela Conga, Gloria Estefan
Ann Binz, Solange
Ben Jack Smells Like Teen Spirit, Nirvana
Carly Cherry Bomb, The Runaways
Colin Alfonso Muskedunder, Todd Terje
Eric AOL Modem Sound
Helen Under the Sea, Little Mermaid
John Anything by Gucci Mane
Josh The French part of Sunday Girl, Blondie
Lily Black Skinhead, Kanye
Madeleine Take On Me, Aha
Melissa Journey of the Sorcerer, The Eagles
Ryan I’m Gonna Get You, Bizarre Inc
Sander That song that Alexa plays in the office that we don’t like so we say skip yet it always comes on the next day
We've made this our first Fuzzco Exercise Playlist (Wrestler Edition). Enjoy it on Spotify or Apple Music.
Supporting our clients ❤
We continue to do the thing that we love - good work for good people. We are here and eager to collaborate with clients new and old. We recognize that this is a difficult time for many businesses and we’d love to have a conversation about how we can work together.
Supporting each other ❤
We know that staying safe and staying home isn’t easy, cushy or thrilling. There’s a lot more to navigate than your normal google calendar - from managing children who need engagement to general feelings of loneliness to wanting to celebrate a momentous occasion and settling on microwave popcorn.
We’ve been busy with some ideas for how to stay connected in the hopes of creating a smile. Today we're starting with Coloring Pages. These are illustrations we've done over the years that we're remaking and sharing for you to color! Much like putting together a puzzle, coloring can be a nice distraction and even somewhat meditative.
Download the first Coloring Page.
We’re finding staying active helps us stay happy. Our friends at Dance Church are now streaming its infamous movement classes—think virtual dance party—on Wednesday nights and Sunday morning. It's SO FUN to move our bodies with thousands of people all over the world. Classes are on a donation basis and go to fund Dance Church as well as to support dancers and artists.
Stay tuned for more joy-giving, laughter-inducing, peace-of-mind-supporting, boredom-curing releases from us in the coming weeks.
In Closing 🧿
Our hearts go out to all of our clients, friends, family, neighbors, strangers across the globe that aren't so fortunate to work from home and are facing uncertainty.
Thank you to everyone at Fuzzco and the clients and friends who’ve supported us along the way.
We’re online and hope to talk soon!
